Every end of the year marks a moment to reflect upon the failures, achievements and goals that made the year memory.
It is a tradition of many including that of the former President of the United States of America; Barack Obama who recently shared a snippet of the highlights throughout the year.
A list that has triggered a lot of reactions and comments from his supporters and generally people who appreciate his personality.
‘As 2018 draws to a close, I’m continuing a favorite tradition of mine and sharing my year-end lists.” he said in an online post.
According to Obama, this list gives him a moment to pause and reflect on the year through the books, movies, and music that he found most thought-provoking, inspiring, or just plain loved.
He also added that it gives him a chance to highlight talented authors, artists, and storytellers – some who are household names and others who people may not have heard of before.
In his long list, he features Michelle’s Book as the best read this year and goes ahead to add up to the list.
