Manchester United boss explains reveals the little change he has made

After back to back wins since taking over the reins from Jose Mourinho, Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that the only thing he has changed at the club is the squad’s mindset.

Solskjaer has picked up emphatic wins in the two games that he has been in charge which included the 5-1 victory over Fulham and the 3-1 win over Huddersfield Town on Boxing Day.

Paul Pogba who was benched in the 3-1 defeat to arch-rivals Liverpool seems to be enjoying a new lease of life and scored a brace in the win over Huddersfield.

Solskjaer revealed that in the short span of time he has only managed to change the squad’s mindset, “No, you don’t in one week [change] anything. But, the mindset. I want my team to play in a certain way and you give them little pointers here and there and it’s a work in progress, that’s what it is.

“It’s going to take time to go from one manager and details he wanted, and I’ve done a little bit of a tweak, so it will improve as time goes on and I was just saying to the staff as well towards the end where you go 2-0 up or 3-0 up.”
