As quest for justice proceeds,an aide to a Cabinet Secretary is out on Sh300,000 bail after being charged with defiling his boss’s teenage daughter.
The man is accused of committing the crime at a five-star hotel in Nakuru county on Sunday night.
According to police reports he left Kibelion Hotel off Nakuru-Kabarnet Highway on Saturday night and arrived at Nakuru Sarova Woodlands at around 12 am on Sunday in the company of the underage girl.
Its not clear how he managed to access the Hotel with the girl but police suspect he might have bribed the management.
He spent the remaining part of the night at the hotel with the girl and left on Sunday morning.
The suspect was arrested the same day near Mogotio Polytechnic at around 8 pm by flying squad officers after the under age opened up on the rape ordeal.
He appeared before Nakuru law courts senior resident magistrate Yvonne Khatambi and was charged with two counts of defilement and an alternative charge of committing an indecent act.
The accused denied all the charges.
The man was arrested on December 23 by the Flying Squad after attempting to flee, and detained at Bondeni police station.
The case will be mentioned on January 18.
