Chelsea and Real Madrid are considering a major transfer swap deal including Eden Hazard and Isco.
The Guardian are reporting that the both clubs are considering the deal with both players continuing to be linked with moves away from their current club. Eden Hazard has been splashed all over the gossip columns for the past six months now and it does appear as if links to Real Madrid are not without substance.
The Belgian looked to be close to a move away from Stamford Bridge during the summer but the Blues managed to keep hold of their star asset but these latest reports suggest that the former Lille star could still be on his way.
Maurizio Sarri would surely be hugely reluctant to let Hazard go during January which makes a move in the summer much more likely and that could include Isco going the other way.
The Spanish international is a massive talent but is having a tough spell at the Bernabeu at the moment having fallen out of favour with the fans and few would be surprised if he did decide to leave the La Liga giants at the first opportunity.
Hazard would surely be worth more than Isco in straight money terms but the Spanish star might well prove to be an attractive option for Sarri as he looks to build a team capable of challenging Man City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
The January transfer window is now just days away and it could be that Eden Hazard continues to be the man in the headlines…
