Kenyans have thronged Social Media with good will and quick recovery messages to Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife Yucabeth Nyaboke who were involved in a tragic road accident at Ng’ata Bridge along the Nakuru Eldoret -Highway.
According to the Rift Valley Regional Coordinator Mongo Chimwaga, the accident occurred at around 9:45 on Saturday morning. He said Maraga and his wife were on their way to church when the accident occurred.
“The Chief Justice was involved in an accident at Ng’ata Bridge, they were heading to church when it occurred,” he said.
The family has been admitted at the War Memorial Hospital in Nakuru and are waiting to be airlifted to Nairobi. Reports indicate that the Chief Justice, a staunch Seventh Day Adventist, is in a stable condition.
