If God is for us who can be against us? Well Chief Justice David Maraga has today seen the hand of God manifest itself in his life. The CJ was this morning involved in a road accident that sent shock waves among many Kenyans.
The CJ however sustained minor head injuries and is said to be in stable condition.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has already issued a directive to the military to airlift Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife Yucabeth Nyaboke to Nairobi following the road accident.
According to the Rift Valley Regional Coordinator Mongo Chimwaga, President Kenyatta ordered the evacuation to Nairobi hospital for comprehensive medical attention.
Maraga was rushed to War Memorial Hospital Nakuru after the accident.
The CJ has now issued a statement to the general public with the CJ confirming that him alongside his wife, their driver and aide are all okay.
Maraga has thanked Kenyans for their prayers and concern.
“My wife and I were involved in an accident in Nakuru this morning on our way to Church. We are undergoing medical observation. My driver and aide who were with us are also okay. We thank God for His mercies. Thank you Kenyans for your prayers and concern,” said the CJ.
