High Court has today issued orders stopping blogger Cyprian Nyakundi from publishing defamatory words against politician Steve Mbogo.
This is a big blow to the blogger as the court has ruled in favour of Steve Mbogo who has earlier sued Nyakundi for publishing defamatory articles about him.
In the law suit demands, the politician requested the court to bar the blogger from writing anything about him.
He also wanted the court to orders Nyakundi to delete the articles he has already published.
The politician also added that the article claiming he found his wife sleeping with their driver is defamatory and meant to tarnish his name.
In this era of fake news and rumour blogs, it has become so easy to have misleading content in the public as many fail to look into the ethical aspect of news reporting.
Steve Mbogo argued that there’s no justification for Nyakundi to publish defamatory article concerning him and his family.
The controversial blogger has been involved in online drama and even has a record of being suspended from twitter.
More drama for being involved in a heated exchange with Kenya’s popular Singer Akothee.
