Yesterday the Kenyan Music industry woke up to sad news of the untimely death to one of the Country’s most promising and talented Musician Eliud Sagini better known to many as Sagini.
Sagini’s death sent a shock wave to many music lovers. The Singer was over the weekend on Live Television having an interview on KTN’s Straight Up with his death coming just a day after his interview where he also said he wasn’t feeling well but still went ahead and performed some his great music to his fans.
Sagini has allegedly been sick for a long time but had not yet got any quality medication.
His death led to may speculations among his fans. His management has now come out to clear the air on any speculations and said that the fallen Singer will be subjected to a postmortem today to ascertain the cause of his death.
“Hello family and friends this is to confirm that tomorrow on 19/12/2018. *The late SaginiMusic* will undergo a *postmortem* at 12.00 noon…Let’s avoid speculations,” said Vekta, Alka Music’s CEO
A number of Kenyan artistes have also mourned the now late Sagini.
Taking to social media, Rapper Khaligraph Jones confirmed that the singer passed away on Monday, December 17 after suffering a short illness.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing away of one of Kenya’s greatest and promising talent Eliud Sagini better known to many as Sagini,” posted the rapper.
The rapper further revealed that the singer was pronounced dead shortly after arriving in hospital.
“My little man, Sagini, will always love you fam,” continued the rapper.
Sagini will be remembered for brining life to a number of Khaligraph Jomes’ tracks with his Vocal prowess. The Singer had a hand in Khaligraph’s tracks like Nataka iyo Doh, Testimony, Khali Cartel 1 among others.
He also did a number of great collaborations alongside Tanzania’s Young Killer, Timmy T dat, Achycho, Gabu Underscore, Balulu and Tunji of the Mat za Ronga Fame.
