Many will argue that the reason she’s able to be successful is because from the famous Kardashian family. Well, there could be some truth behind the claims but bottom line is that the 21-year old is on her way to becoming the youngest self-made billionaire ever.
In a list compiled by Forbes Magazine, Kylie has been named the fifth Wealthiest American Celebrity of 2018 with a net worth of $900 million putting her at a tie with rapper Jay Z.
New to the list this year is Kylie Jenner who runs Kylie Cosmetics, which has shifted more than $630 million in make-up since its launch two years ago by targeting her 168 million-plus social media followers.
Jenner owns 100% of the bare-bones business, a stake valuable enough to put her among America’s Richest Self-Made Women and land her a spot on the cover of Forbes.
“It’s the most authentic thing I’ve done in my career, and it really relates to me, and I feel like people can tell that I’m super passionate about it,” Kylie told ES magazine.
“It came from an insecurity and I turned it into something. I was insecure about my lips, and lipstick is what helped me feel confident,” she added.
