Why do people just keep going back to these local illegal liquor that are just day in day out claiming lives? The people never tend to learn from the past experiences falling victim of the same liquor from hell.
It is not the first time that similar cases are being reported in Kenya. It is a trend right now. Just a few months several people were left dead and others lost their eyesights for consuming illegal brew that was considered poisonous in Mtindwa, Umoja area in Nairobi.
But the same has now transversed to the neighboring county of Nairobi.
One person has been reported dead and four others admitted in Elburgon Hospital after consuming alcohol that is suspected to have been laced with poisonous substances.

The state of the four have not been fully ascertained but they are in a poor condition.
This becomes one of the many cases of drinking gone wrong. But will we really learn especially during this festive season?
Kenyans are just Kenyans. The introduction of Mututho law was meant to curb such incidences from happening and reducing the rates of drinking in the country.
But the cases of laced drinks have started popping up again.
The relevant authorities need to take relevant steps before the situation goes overboard. But also the people who make poisonous laced liqur should be dealt with . That is crime against humanity.
