During the onset of 2017 General elections in Kenya, nobody ever knew that the then cordial relationship between IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati and the former CEO Ezra Chiloba will once hit the rocks.
They used to sing the same song to convince the Kenyans of how the IEBC was more than prepared to lead Kenya into that crucial elections periods.
But what came after the nullification of the Presidential election portrayed the true colors of Chebukati. Ezra Chiloba was sent to a compulsory leave afterwards.
The compulsory leave opened the loopholes for the wrong that was silently eating away the Commission to be brought to light.
The amount of graft and awarding of tenders in IEBC is just overwhelming, maybe the amount of irregular tenders awarded to companies surpasses the Anglo-leasing scandal , yes even more than the Euro bond scandal.
The fired CEO was left to carry the cross as Chebukati lifted the blame on him. Ezra Chiloba has been left to defend himself in the Senate committee against the mass graft that is facing IEBC.
In what it may look like an attempt to play innocent Chiloba has penned down through his twitter account that those who are determined to him sink for their sins , the truth will eventually be brought to light and their skimming exposed.

Netizens have not hesitated to hit back on the former CEO. He has received wild reactions especially from the Nasa supporters who were pushing for his ouster before the repeat presidential elections that saw people turn up in large numbers on the streets to demonstrate.
