This year has not been a good one for former miss Tanzania Wema Sepetu, ghosts of bad luck have been following her.
Days after being banned from acting, famous bongo movie actress has now pleaded with Tanzania Film Board (TFB) to lift the ban that was recently imposed on her following the sexually explicit video she posted on her social platform.
“Hivyo naahidi kuendelea kuwa na mwenendo chanya katika jamii pasipo kuharibu maelekezo niliyopewa na Bodi ya Filamu katika kuisafisha taswira yangu ambayo imechafuka,” she pleaded with the board.
However,the Tanzania Film Board appears unmoved by Wema’s tribulations. The board said it will continue monitoring the actress until they are satisfied that she has changed her ways.
Wema who happens to be Diamond platinum’s ex girlfriend ,says she is losing many business deals and money as a result of the ban adding that she depends fully on acting to make a living, right now she is can’t generate any income.
“Filamu ndio kitu ninacho kitegemea maishani mwangu. Tangu nimefungiwa nimekosa fursa nyingi za kazi ambazo zingetutangaza kimatiafa,” she said.
Not so long the actress was kicked out of her posh home in Salasala, Dar es Salaam over rent arrears, forcing her to relocate to her mother’s house in Sinza.
Wema nightmare started when she got involved with her estranged boyfriend who is currently on a run after being accused of conning most Tanzania celebrities including the beauty queen.
