PHOTO: Bank Employee in trouble for tying goat on spare tyre during a trip

A bank employee is in trouble after he a photo of him using the bank’s car to transport a goat went viral.

In the picture, the man is spotted to have tied the goat on a spare tyre as his vehicle was moving. The goat also appears to be uncomfortable in that state hence is said to have gone against the animal’s right.

The man is said to have been driving the car under the logo of the Tanzania Investment Bank when the photo was taken.

Sources also reveal that he was on a trip to Dar Es Salaam to Mwanza.

The bank issued a press statement saying that they are aware of the incident although the driver was working on his own directive and not under the instructions of the Bank.

The Bank also admitted that they agree with the fact that the man’s action was against the road safety regulations, animal rights also termed the act as misuse of the companies property.

They also added that they are taking the discipline measures necessary against the driver so that it can serve as a lesson to other employees.

The Tanzanian Investment Bank congratulated the citizens for exposing the driver saying that they should continue sending out such reports so that discipline may be restored in the society.

The employee will therefore be required to take up responsibility in case of any charges or fines he will be placed under.

It’s festive season and this is the time when you will see even cows being carried by motorbikes.

All motorists have been warned over such incidences and are expected to comply with the law.
