In my social media history I have been blocked three times that I’m certain of. Once after a breakup, the next after having called a (now former) friend on something, and the last after criticizing an MP on Twitter.
And each time there was, I’ll admit, a part of me that thought, “Ugh, how immature”.
Lawyer Miguna Miguna has been completely blocked by politicians whom he has previously launched a scathing attack on.
When opposition leader Raila Odinga blocked the lawyer, Miguna described him as ‘the chief cowardly hypocrite.’
In a tweet, Miguna Miguna revealed that Raila had blocked him on Twitter.
The lawyer explained that the opposition leader’s move was because he knew that his yet to be released book would be an explosive revolutionary engagement.

The controversial lawyer and politician, who is currently exiled in Canada, announced his book release date to his 450,000 Twitter followers giving December 20, 2018, as the date of the book’s publication.
Miguna posted the cover page of the 450-page book which will be titled, Treason: The case against Tyrants and Renegades.
In August, Lawyer Miguna Miguna was not happy after Deputy President William Ruto blocked him on Twitter.According to Dr Miguna, DP Ruto blocked him because of criticising him on matters governance argued that DP Ruto is a public servant who is financed by taxpayers and therefore does not have the privilege of blocking critics.
“Mr. William Ruto has blocked me for criticizing him. He is not a private citizen. He sucks billions from my taxes,” Miguna posted on his Twitter account.

The popular and vocal lawyer has also hit out on President Uhuru Kenyatta, stating that he was jobless before he met former President Danel arap Moi who nominated him.
“Mr Ruto sold chicken before he became an MP. Uhuru Kenyatta was jobless before Moi nominated him. They have no right to shout at us,” Miguna stressed.
Ruto said he blocked Miguna Miguna because he had attacked him and his family online, something he did not take lightly. According to Ruto, he would block anyone who attacked him or his family on social media regardless of their positions in the society.
