Marco Silva says that reported interest from Tottenham in on-loan Everton midfielder Andre Gomes is “normal in football”.
Gomes joined Everton on loan from Barcelona in the summer, and has been a revelation since returning from injury.
Gary Neville has been more than impressed by the Portuguese, who has also earned admiring glances from Tottenham.

The Daily Telegraph reported that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy ‘could provide Everton with competition’ to sign Gomes permanently.
They add that head scout Steve Hitchen was in attendance at the recent Merseyside derby, ‘when it is understood he was watching Gomes’. Mauricio Pochettino was telling fibs.
But Marco Silva was not on Friday, happily discussing the long-term future of his midfielder.
“When you have good players in your squad, that means other clubs are looking at them as well. That’s normal in football,” he said.
“At the right moment, we’ll have time to talk about the situation and let’s see what we can do to keep him or not.
“My job is to work with the players we have, to give them the conditions to grow as a player.
“Of course, we’ll see what we can do to improve in the market, but our focus is on the next game.”
