Is this the Luhya Nation Unity?

The song about uniting the Luhya Nation has been played for long until it has become so boring. The tune also takes a rhythm that is not rhyming at all.

The calls for unity have always been called for over a decade now. The selfishness of the Luhya leaders have never allowed them to be on a similar page and just gang up to support one of their own in quest for Presidency.

In terms of numbers Luhya Nation is among the leading in Kenya. But the efforts to bring them on one table has often proved to be futile.

But in a rare ocassion the Luhya leaders shared a table early this week.

During the launch of the Launch of the Jurist Sacco of Kenya , Former Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and CS Devolution Hon Eugene Wamalwa shared a table and exchanged light moments. Is this the new unity found?

Hon Musalia Mudavadi and Hon Moses Wetangula have each announced individual desire to be in state house in 2022. No one has hinted of supporting the other to clinch the state house seat.

Maybe they are now talking the same language as even during the Jamhuri Celebration they both showed up in Nyayo  Stadium to grace the event which was presided by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

But this is not a complete unity as other leaders from the region such as Boni Khalwale  who has pledged his support for the DP Ruto.

This still becomes a hurdle as many leaders from the region have diverse loyalties that make the united race for Presidency for the Luhya Nation to be hail difficult.

Do you think Mudavadi and Wetangula will team up for the 2022 Presidency ticket?
