Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes Chelsea can compete for the Premier League title this season after the Blues ended his side’s unbeaten run with a convincing 2-0 win at the Bridge on Saturday.
The Spaniard insists that with the players Sarri has, Chelsea can compete for all the trophies this season.
“If you tell me Liverpool can win the title, I would say yes. If you say Tottenham, Arsenal or Chelsea can win the Premier League then I would say yes. Everybody can win the Premier League,” he said after the match.
“We know that with two defeats in three games players give an extra bit, playing at home against a previous champion.
“They are an exceptional team, Chelsea, and I know Sarri things that needs more time but I see right now is a team to compete for everything.
“You see Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, they are players at a high, high level. Pedro has two Champions League, Hazard one of the best in the world, Willian top class.
“The back four incredible, good keeper, so they are a side to be there. I don’t have doubts.”’
