Arsenal’s on-form striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was instrumental on Sunday as the Gunners won a fiery contested North London derby against Tottenham at the Emirates stadium.
The Gabon striker celebrated his magnificent strike in the 56th minute by pumping his arms out on either side of the body – an iconic celebration synonymous with Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
After the match, Drogba took to his official Instagram page captioning a photo of Aubameyang: “When your lil bro does your signature #spreadyourwings #blessings’.
The Ivorian striker, who recently announced his retirement from football, popularized the celebration during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The morale-boosting derby win saw Arsenal extend their unbeaten run to an impressive 19 games in all competitions as they prepare to face a struggling Manchester United side at Old Trafford on Wednesday 5th December.
