Nine Doubtful as Manchester welcomes Arsenal at OT

Manchester United have been hard hit by injuries and are facing the possibility of being without nine players ahead of the mammoth clash against Arsenal on Wednesday 5th November in an 11 PM kick off at Old Trafford.

In their last game against Southampton Jose Mourinho was forced to deploy Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay in defense alongside Phil Jones due to injuries to Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof who have been regulars.

The nine who are doubtful for the Arsenal clash are Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Luke Shaw, Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford and Ashely Young.

Young is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards this season in the 2-2 draw against Southampton over the weekend. Rashford was subbed off with a knock in the game against Southampton and will face a late fitness test ahead of the Arsenal game.

According to The Telegraph, right-backs, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are also facing late fitness tests having missed the trip to St Mary’s with unspecified knocks. Bailly missed the Southampton game with a back problem.
