Video: Uhuru’s plan to make Kenya a hotbed of intellectuals

President Uhuru Kenyatta is determined to make Kenya a center of academic and educational excellence. This is not only in theoretical learning but also in other technical learning where people are equipped with relevant skills relevant in steering the economical growth.

This comes as a nation is making considerable plans in making the country an academic state with  recent actions taken by the government to ensure that their is sanity in the examination sector.

Other countries

Other development countries like China , Japan and Canada have invested heavily in skilled based learning that makes most of their citizens to be equipped in various fields making labour and different fields of expertise to be local.

For instance right now Kenya is depending on other countries to develop our roads among other areas which require more skills and knowledge.

Global Citizen Festival in South Africa

Speaking during the global citizen festival which was held in South Africa the President Promised to transform Kenya into  a hotbed of education by increasing the budget share. The President promised to surpass the standard requirement of 20% of the budget by making the Kenya budget allocation to education reach 30 %.

This will be a milestone as it will ease the education in the country by increasing the amount of facilities in the institutions and also offer a perfect opportunity for institutions to get more qualified teachers making the dream a reality.
