The Deputy President has led a number of delegates in Rome Italy with the effort of strengthening the Kenyan ties with Italy.

The Deputy President landed in Rome and has been meeting a number of top officials in Italy with the efforts of establishing more good relations for the country of Kenya.

The Deputy President has appreciated the swap project between the two countries. The government has reimbursed 4.4 million shillings in water and Education projects in efforts to attain balance of trade.

The Deputy President welcomed more investment in different trade sectors and support for Kenya to adopt fully the use of Renewable energy. This comes as the World Health Organization continues to push for a agenda for clean energy in efforts to save the earth.
The Deputy while meeting with Italian Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio emphasized on the need of the country to invest in coffee and leather exports while we get a number of products in the aim of boasting trade between the two countries and also help the country achieve its industrialization goal.

The DP Ruto also got an opportunity to visit a number of successful projects in Italy with the aim of borrowing a leaf from those projects.
