The mandates granted to Interior CS Fred Matiang’i can be described as absolute mandate. If you’re new with Kenya political sphere you might as well confuse him to The Prime Minister.
Matiang’i’s presence is felt everywhere. In every sector the CS is always stamping authority. Tell me in issue in Kenya you haven’t heard Matiang’i not involved in?
But his tough kind of dictator rules usually work. So far his report card does not have an E grade. Take a look at the school buses , despite shouts they are all yellow, where is NRM General Miguna Miguna?
Matiang’i’s effect is felt every corner.
Right now the CS is busy trying to ensure that the Michuki rules are followed to the latter. Matiang’i has been the loudest voice to ensure that the rules are followed. Despite public complains and cry , he was shaken off his ground and right now everything is moving.
Today Matiang’i to stamp the authority himself.
Matiang’i has been spotted on Naivasha and Gilgil road blocks to inspecting the implementation of Michuki rules. The CS has been on the forefront to ensure that sanity in our roads is re-gained. The number of road accidents have even prompted the implementation of Michuki rules.
