As far as many people all over the globe understand the times of different nations rising in battles against each are over. Everyone buried their hatchets, what people are talking right now is business.
But it seems the country’s focus is shifting from going for heavy debts from China to investing in our defense units. But the expenditure is just a normal expenditure but overwhelming one.
Just the other day guns worth 300 million were nabbed at JKIA from Belgium. They were not just ordinary guns but mercenary guns. The government is yet to give a report on the intention and the ownership of the guns.

In 2015, Kenya had proposed a deal to purchase six air crafts for agriculture that could also be used for air attacks. They had also requested to purchase two training air crafts.
The project, which would cost Kenyans Kshs24.3 billion, was blocked by the US government over allegations of corruption within the Kenyan Government.
In March 2017, America approved the purchase requests but Kenya asked for more time to first prepare for the 2017 elections.
Till to date, it has not been confirmed if Kenya made the payment after the deadline given by the US Government to confirm the purchases.
According to the DSCA, Kenya’s military budget is high because the country needs to defend itself against Al Shabaab who have really frustrated Kenyans in previous attacks.
