List of “krimino” MPs who want Kenyans killed on the roads

Michuki rules came back as a way of restoring road sanity. This was moved by the grisly road accident that occurred at Fort Ternan in Kericho County involving a western bound Homeboyz christened bus, that saw 56 lives perish on the road on October Wednesday 10, 2018.

Some matatu operators are still rogue, and do you know that some of our lawmakers are contributing to this habit? Well, this are the legislators that must be spearheading for loss of more lives on the roads.

Igembe South Member of Parliament John Paul Mwirigi on Monday was arrested for inciting Bodaboda riders and probox drivers to oppose the ongoing crackdown on rogue operators. Isn’t it a crime?

The youngest MP was arrested on Monday afternoon after he led the operators to remove a police roadblock erected along the Meru-Mikinduri-Maua road.

He is being held at Mikinduri Police Station.

After the arrest, the operators in Mikinduri and Maua towns lit bonfires demanding for his release.

Mikinduri Bodaboda operators chairman James Mutwiri told the Star their protest will continue until the MP is released.

On Friday, the youngest legislator together with Mpuru Aburi (EALA), Rahim Dawood (North Imenti), Moses Kirima (Imenti Central) and Kubai Iringo (Igembe Central) led similar protests over ongoing enforcement of traffic rules.

He has been demanding the release of Probox vehicles impounded during the crackdown.

Don’t you think these legislators are the one encouraging rogue driving on the roads. This is a festive season, and they still want rogue probox vehicle drivers impounded released! Do you think the MPs should be all arrested and prosecuted?
