Following a report over Manchester City’s plans to create a training complex in London, the Premier League champions have come under fire.
It is claimed that City are planning to build a small-sized replica of their current training ground in the capital to gain an extra advantage when playing away.
However, the ‘Etihad II’ has not been received well by oppositions fans who condemned City’s £200m plans.
Manchester City are continuing to revolutionise football both on and off the pitch and the club believe they have found yet another advantage.
The Citizens are reportedly planning to build a London training complex to accommodate players for away games.
The training facilities would provide Pep Guardiola’s side a place to stay and train when travelling.
It is understood the luxury hotel facilities would include king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms and televisions.
This would provide the players with better comfort and security when travelling to away fixtures.
Absolutely nothing to do with being somewhere to stay when playing away and all about trying to poach the best youth talent from the South. Major selling point to parents that family won’t have to completely relocate up North when agreeing to join City. https://t.co/74kfBGRjEe

The games gone ?? some clubs can’t afford to pay ground staff and are forced to run month to month. Football in this country’s been so badly managed. it’s now so out of control it will eventually consume itself. https://t.co/TjNFG3PHUI

Football is ruined !! Why do city need another training ground in London ?? The top 5 or 6 teams need to brexit the premier league & go into the European super league ASAP !!!
