“Am stronger than before” after the dramatic video that went viral to be wanted back to Tanzania,Veteran Gospel singer Rose Muhando has finally speak out.
The songbird says she is not afraid of what people will say or keep on saying after her recent controversial prayer session with pastor James Ng’ang’a.
In her recent interview on YouTube ,she explained that the allegations on her have made her stronger and she has even now nicknamed herself a lioness.
“Kwa ajili ya uvumilivu wa mapio ninaopitia, shida ngumu, kuvumilia mambo magumu, na ujasiri nilionao, wakaamua kuniita simba wa kike. na hatunyamazi mpaka mungu anapokea utukufu. ndio tunateka nyavu kilindini. tuko hapa kibwezi kwa siku saba mfuulizo. Mpaka wameniita simba hata kama kikipita maana yake mimi siogopangi halafu siongei chochote kile.kazi yangu mimi kuwinda tu.” she said.
The singer has been summoned in Tanzania by authorities who said are now ready to give her help and also investigate her case.
According to Tanzanian Music Foundation (TAMUFO), the singer has been ordered to fly back to the country immediately for “specialised medical treatment”.
While speaking to Tanzania’s journalist, TAMUFO secretary, Stella Joel, said the foundation will accord the singer all the help she needs.
The Tanzania singer was recently captured on tape receiving special prayers from Neno Evangelism Centre lead preacher, James Maina Ng’ang’a.
In the video, Nga’ng’a is seen casting demons out of the “Nibebe” star, who accuses her ex-manager, Nathan, of planting the evil spirits in her.
“As an agency mandated to look into the welfare of musicians in Tanzania, we have decided to seriously look into her claims. In that viral video, she accuses her former manager, Nathan, of very bad things. Her claims paint a bad picture of our industry,” said Ms Joel.
“We have ordered Rose Muhando to immediately return to Tanzania. We understand that she is being housed by a fellow musician in Kenya.
We have also summoned Nathan to appear before the agency and address the claims Ms Muhando leveled against him. We, as an agency, believe Rose Muhando is not demon-possessed, but there is something she is up to,” said Ms Joel.
“It is true that Rose Muhando is ailing, and the music foundation has already contracted doctors from Apollo Hospital in India to attend to her. The medical experts are already in Tanzania,” said Ms Joel.
Amani newspaper also reached Rose Muhando’s representative, Pastor Daud Mashimo, who acknowledged Ms Muhando’s health challenges.
