Gilad MilloDays after confessing his struggle, Israeli born musician Gilad Millo has land a mega deal with Ibis Styles.

Gilad is set  to host Ibis Styles’s recently launched #StylishBarbecue affair that is expected to bring zing and flair to the roof top gig for guests looking into a chill Sunday afternoon plan.

“Unajua” hit maker will be  rocking  fans every Sunday afternoon together with the calabash band to give guests the best of pop culture as they enjoy music, food and drinks too wind down the weekend.

Ibis Styles is looking into providing guests with the ultimate weekend experience every Sunday with the #StylishBarbecue brought to you by #TeamStylish  from the hotel including live stations with Gilad, barbecue tips for meat lovers and cocktail sessions with the resident mixologists to spice up Sunday afternoons.

The Sky Bar was re-launched last week at the rooftop bar of Ibis Styles Hotel in an exclusive affair that saw various guests enjoy the weekend long event to mark the celebration.

Located along Rhapta road Westlands, The rooftop bar is the ideal place for a great night out while enjoying fantastic views across the city.

During  an interview with Shaffie and Adelle,the Mzungu who sings in Kiswahali  confessed he has smoked for 32 years.

Yes, the singer started smoking in 1986(32 years) adding that he’s greatest achievement this year has been him not smoking for six months.

“I have stopped smoking for six months now, that’s like the biggest thing in my life. I have smoked cigarette’s for 32 years now and I quit, I never believed I could do it.” he said. 

Well, he thought it was impossible but he has done it and is keeping strong, a clear indication that all is possible with determination.

Gilad will be travelling to Israel together with Dela, as the Kenyan Embassy has invited them to perform.

His first footprint in Kenya was as a backpacker in 1996. He returned in 2002 as the Israeli government spokesman following the Kikambala terror attacks on Israeli tourists. In 2003, he was back as deputy ambassador of Israel to Kenya.

After a stint in Los Angeles, Millo left Israel’s Foreign Ministry in 2008, and settled with his family in Nairobi permanently. By day, he heads business development and public relations for Balton CP Group.
