Wema Sepetu clashes with Tanzanian Government Again

Wema Sepetu has today been arraigned in court over the social media saga and sharing of intimate photos and videos online.

Sepetu’s case was heard today, November 21 by Judge Mkazi Kisutu, in Dar es Salaam after she was sued by TCRA over the claims that she published videos which had sexual content online.

The case hearing has been postponed to December 12 of this year as a result of the pending Investigations.

Sepetu’s troubles began when she took to social media to announce and introduce her future husband in a video where the two were kissing.

The Tanzanian Sweetheart then apologized on the press saying that she was sorry and asked the government to pardon her for her foolishness.

Wema Sepetu had also added that she had realized that what she had done was a huge mistake and she regrets knowing that she is a role model to many who look up to her. Despite her apology, Sepetu was not spared as she had to face the law.

A dark cloud might still be hovering around the former miss Tanzania Wema Sepetu.

Days after being banned from acting by Tanzania film industry, the actress was allegedly thrown out of her home in Salasala, Dar es Salaam after she could not raise money to cover her rent.

Weeks later she appears in court and still happens to be troubled since the court failed to rule her case. A section of Tanzanians had reacted saying that this could be the end of her career since the battles with the Tanzanian government seem to have began.
