When will people stop associating DP William Ruto with any multi-million investment available on the face of earth? How much is the deputy President really worth?
Ruto is a wealthy man leading a good life and latest reports in the press have only made Kenyans question the country’s second in command’s worth.
Reports have emerged claiming that Ruto and Africa’s Richest man Aliko Dangote had entereda partnership that would see them take over Leicester City football club after the tragic death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
Reports claim that Leicester City rejected the duo’s bid for the mere reason that they were Africans.
Aliko Dangote is not new to speculations with regards to taking over African Clubs with the Nigerian Man initially associated with the takeover of English giants Arsenal Football Club.
In 2016, Dnagote disclosed his plans to buy English Premier League team, Arsenal, within the next four years – a bid that could have made him the first African owner of a Premier League club if successful.
Dangote made the disclosure during a television interview in New York but said that he was not in a position to acquire Arsenal then because his finances were committed towards completing more than $20 billion worth of infrastructure projects, including the construction of a refinery.
Speculations about the Ruto-Dangote Leicester take over has set the social media on fire with many questioning the Deputy Presidents wealth. The question many Kenyans asking is “Just how rich is the deputy President William Ruto?”

Africa’s Ruto and Dangote had partnerd in an attempt to buy the club and share ownership on equal terms…The Leicester city management has however not welcomed the two insisting that the club owner should not be of African descent.
