Hasira hasara!!Father kills daughter shortly after KCPE exam was released

This year Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCPE) exams has been faced with dramas,shortly after the exams were released, a family in Kitale is mourning a pupil who died after she was given a thorough beating from her father.

The candidate had scored 401 marks in KCPE that was released yesterday was beaten to death when she came back home after spending a night in her boyfriend’s house.

According to Citizen’ s  report, The man identified as Baraza and his wife tied up their daughter as they administered the beating for fear that their daughter could get pregnant before she could complete her studies.

“She had gone to her boyfriend and the parents were looking for her. When they found her they started beating her up on the way to their home.

They tied her up and when they stopped the beating she dragged herself out of the house and was rained on until she past on at 6.30 pm,” said a aunt of the deceased.

The mother was arrested and taken to Ndalu Police Station in Bungoma county as the police launched a search for the father who ran way after committing the crime.

The student died barely hours after the CS raised alarm over misbehavior and indiscipline cases among students which led to higher cases of teenage pregnancies.

Amina challenged parents to beware of their children whereabouts and play a communal responsibility of taking care of school children in society.

“I challenge you to know where your children are during the holidays, two months is not too long to look after them. I am tired of getting clips of children in discotheques, you need to take responsibility, it’s embarrassing and shameful,” lamented the CS “If you find children out at a certain time even if it is not your child, send them home and talk to their parents, save them now.

Police have now launched a manhunt of the suspect who went missing after the incident.
