Sad!!KCSE candidate succumbed to mysterious illness

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates has succumbed to the unknown illness at the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi.

Nikita Sally Koyier, who was supposed to be sitting the just concluded KCSE exams at Alliance Girls High School had been battling a mysterious disease for weeks .

Nikita died on the afternoon of Friday, November 16 at Aga Khan hospital where she had been admitted at the hospital’s ICU for weeks after doctors at various medical facilities she was taken to were unable to establish her ailment.

“Nikita had united well-wishers with many coming together to raise awareness over an unknown condition which had her hospitalized at the Aga Khan Hospital. Following her death, some members of the Daystar Community, as well as friends of the family flocked the Aga Khan Hospital where they held prayers,” the university wrote in an email to the Daystar Community.

The  teenage girl had been admitted at Aga Khan University hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where doctors battled to diagnose her strange disease and save her life in vain.

Koyier, daughter to Daystar University don Thomas Koyier whose story had captured the attention of the public  was admitted after she developed complications that began with a severe headache in September 2018 and which made it almost impossible for her to sleep.

According to her social media friends, her family was expected to raise KSh 10.9 million in three weeks for her diagnosed and treatment.
