In the efforts to boost relations between Kenya and Zimbabwe, and to work together on development initiatives, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has this morning met and held discussions with her Zimbabwean counterpart H.E. First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa at State House, Nairobi.
The two First Ladies shared insights over a raft of issues revolving around women empowerment, health, children and collaboration between their two offices.

On the 5th of October, Margaret Kenyatta hosted the First Lady of the United States of America; Melania Trump where they had talks focusing on matters of health especially the welfare of mothers and children, and conservation, subjects that are close to the hearts of the two First Ladies.
The Kenyan First Lady is the Patron of the innovative and transformative Beyond Zero initiative which concerns itself with health interventions for mothers and children especially the elimination of mother-to-child HIV infections and reducing the transmission of the scourge among adolescents.
On her part Melania Trump is the founder and promoter of the “Be Best” initiative designed to improve the welfare of Children.
The efforts by the Kenyan First Lady to be part of propelling Kenya toward the achieving of the Big Four Agenda is evident as she has shows determination and readiness to work with other nations to bring change.
