Nowhere to hide! Mauritius embarrassed by Kenya’s Emerging Stars

This is one of the few moments that we are Proud to be Kenyans. The Kenyan Under 23 also know as the Emerging Stars carry a healthy advantage into the second leg, following a massive 5-0 victory over Mauritius which is set to be played on Sunday in Mauritius, courtesy of a goal apiece by Johnstone Omurwa, James Mazembe, Pistone Mutamba, Sydney Lokale and Joseph Okumu.

The boys under tactician Francis Kimanzi displayed a good performance and it was clear their passes were well thought. If only Harammbe Stars could play and coordinate like them, they would be far up the FIFA Ranking by now.

The Moi Kasarani stadium was fairly empty but that did not stop or in any  way deter the players spirits to win at home.

The winner on aggregate will face off with either of Sudan or Seychelles in the second round, with a third round also in line.

The third round winner will gain qualification to the final AFCON U23 tournament, which will act as a qualifier to the 2020 Olympics.
