They had a lengthy talks possibly on the matters of succession politics of 2022. In attendance was Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.

The lunch in his Karen home, may have shed some light for a future. Raila commands a lot of support from most parts of the country. The President is also a political heavy-weight, so any courtship may cement the 2022 campaign.
The handshake was seen to strengthen the relationship between the president and Raila Odinga. Ruto was hanging on. With his late moves , Ruto is seemingly also now sailing in the handshake boat and maybe preparing for something more than a handshake.
Ruto is always viewed a politician with strong conviction, if he wins both Raila and The President Uhuru Kenyatta it will be such a new move that can easily book him direct ticket to the state house.
