Why is it that during exams period , certain non-realistic things that shift from the society expectations are done by candidates? Is it exam phobia or they are trying to pass a point in a hard way?

Maybe also the fear of transition from one level to another scares them, but change is inevitable.

A KCPE candidate in Bomet County is sitting exams at a police station after he was arrested over arson.

The 19-year-old private candidate was arrested at Kelyot village after he allegedly burned his mother’s house on Tuesday evening.

He is being held alongside a relative said to be his accomplice.

“The candidate is sitting the exams at the police station after he was arrested in relation to an arson incident at Kelyot village in Bomet Central,” said Bomet OCPD Samson Rukunga.

“The candidate will be charged in court once the exams are over,” he added.

Bomet County Director of Education Mabale Indiatsi confirmed that the candidate had received Kiswahili, Science and Insha papers at the police station.

 

 

“He is one of the 27 private candidates who were sitting the exams at Bomet Primary School examination centre,” Mr Indiatsi said.

Labour Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani had visited the centre on Tuesday morning, where he told the candidates to maintain integrity and discipline during the examination period.
