Uhuru Makes Unexpected Visit to KCPE Center

The Head of State who was accompanied by Education CS Amina Mohamed and KNEC Chairman Prof. George Magoha, encouraged the students and stated that it was just an event they needed to overcome.

“Do not feel that you are under pressure to do anything that is wrong. Just do the best you can do.

“My promise is that as long as you have done your best, every one of you will find a place in secondary school.

“Trust in your God and do your best,” stated Uhuru.

The visit by the president who is serving his second term, signified the seriousness taken by the government to ensure that the 2018 examinations are not marred with cheating.

He had further warned that action would be taken against those caught or facilitating stealing of exams.

KNEC reiterated Uhuru’s directive on cheating where the examination body stated that it would recall certificates of parents and teachers found aiding in examination cheating.
