Arsenal will name a heavily-rotated starting XI to face League One outfit Blackpool in the Carabao Cup fourth round at the Emirates.

The Gunners are dealing with a defensive crisis ahead of the game and will require an emergency left-back to plug the gap on Wednesday night.

Granit Xhaka filled in at left-back against Leicester and is likely to be deployed there once again following a potential injury to Hector Bellerin.

The Spanish right-back was substituted off during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace due to muscle pains.

Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac remain out though both are close to returning, while Konstantinos Mavropanos is out until the end of the month.
