Pastors living life in a big spoon

Well could this be the most thriving business we have today? not sure either

Just the other day an archbishop from Kampala sited that the government should actually start deducting atleast 10% of citizens salary and directed towards the church.

Well this got me thinking is tithing not a personal decision or if i may put it we tithe to appreciate God’s goodness in our lives i don’t know may be someone else has an opinion.

Thats besides the point, a shocking revelation has emerged that a South African “man of God”  Alph Lukau is raising eyebrows.

He recently bought himself a Ferrari knowing how much a Ferrari costs and considering how much pastors could be earning, through apparently convincing about 2000 women to gather in Joburg.

Here he apparently layed hands on them, prayed and anointed their ring fingers to attract marriage proposals in 90 days.

Well as the saying goes nothing in this world comes for free , for every hand he anointed, he asked for R500 each. That is about Ksh 35000.

If you do the math, 35,000 times the 2000 women will make him a whopping Ksh 70,000,000 and immediately after that event, he bought a Ferrari.

A Ferrari is one of those posh cars that cost some ridiculous huge amount of money that only people who has lots of money can afford.

Pastor Alph Lukau  founded Alleluia Ministries International in 2002. The man of God is reported to be able to heal any kind of illness brought before him. In fact, the man of God himself claimed that he could raise the dead.

His church has grown significantly since then and now boasts hundreds of thousands of members across many branches in several countries like South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Europe and even in South America.

According to Alleluia Ministries’ website, Pastor Lukau is also a Bible scholar, coach, mentor, and spiritual father to many followers. In addition, he is an entrepreneur. His wife, Celeste Lukau, serves with him in his Johannesburg-based church. The couple reportedly donate to charity regularly.

In these time and era seems like church has become the core business. Pastors are living life with big spoons.

Living in super mega mansions in these posh estates where big shot politicians live.

Well, seems like he is not the only pastor who drives a Ferrari, Joel Osteen a Pastor at the LakeWood church in Texas

He drives a Ferrari 458 Italia, an Italian sports car worth an estimated R4,5-million.

Osteen’s net worth in 2017 was reported as between R547-million and R784-million. He lives with his family in an opulant  mansion in the exclusive community of River Oaks.

This being one of the most talked about topic with no answers, do you think Pastors are going way over board with this  “Church business thing?”
