A section of political leaders from the region were heard assuring him support ahead of 2022.

Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichungwa said he was confident that DP Ruto will clinch the presidential seat come 2022.

Ichungwa told off the opponents of Ruto who are trying to bar him from getting to State House by changing the Constitution through a referendum , citing that they are just but daydreaming.

Ichung’wa said Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta promised to unite Kenyans, engineer change and transform lives for a united, cohesive nation.

However, the speech from the host governor, Waititu commonly known as “Baba Yao” came in a dramatic way, with him struggling to drive points at home.

Kenyans have not less than once made hilarious memes from Waititu’s statements which occasionally comes out dramatically.

The  ‘Punjab University graduate’ was trying to respond to allegations that the county government had evicted traders from Githurai market.

Quite emotional, Waititu said the county government has not evicted anyone but called on the traders to be ready to create room for the contractor to commence work on the Sh2.7 billion market.

He really struggled to make the ksh. 2.7 billion statement come out, where he kept on changing the figures before landing on 2.7.
