Why church leaders want to appoint DP as Reverend William.

The Deputy President William Ruto has confirmed that he is going to continue doing more Harambees towards helping the churches.

Despite questions raised where Ruto gets those lots of money that he is always giving out to the churches every weekend the Deputy President has rubbished those claims saying that he will not relent to help whenever he is invited to a church function.

Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday insisted that he will continue supporting churches through harambees despite criticism and questions about his sources of wealth.

Mr Ruto, while attending the installation of Pefa Church regional bishops in Karatina, Nyeri County, said he is unapologetic about helping religious institutions.

The DP described himself as an evangelist dedicated to spreading the gospel and supporting churches.

He also pointed out that he was raised by Christian parents.

“If not a deputy president, I would be an evangelist,” he said at Karatina Stadium.

He added: “I know there are charges against me for helping Christians in churches. I plead guilty to the charges so there is no requirement of witnesses. I am not ashamed of my faith.”

Ruto has gained a lot of popularity for attending different churches across the country on Sunday where is has even capitalizes on pushing his political Agenda for 2022.

Ruto in so many political gatherings he has insisted on his close relationship with his Creator and has always insisted on serving him.

This move of the Deputy President supporting fund raising in churches has received a lot of accolades from church leaders who support the idea saying that it is working towards the development of the different religions. This is mostly by the christian churches who are the most beneficiaries of Ruto’s generous hand.

Ruto has since been leading his close allies to various fundraising activities in different counties in order to strengthen his ties with different church leaders and their congregation to try and cement the 2022 succession politics.

This call by Ruto comes as most leaders are avoiding personal audit to reveal their real worth and how they have accumulated the wealth they have.

The Deputy President has been linked to a number of corruption allegations in the country which have since never been proven.

A  number of land grabbing cases have been linked to the Deputy President who has since rubbished all those claims.The latest claim is Ruto confession to be the owner of Weston Hotel which is under investigation for illegal land acquiring.

The President , Uhuru Kenyatta has since kept on pushing for the fight against corruption. The President has also turned his head towards the achievement of the Big Four Agenda and swifted all the attention towards fulfilling the pledges he made to the people of Kenya during the campaign period.
