Kalonzo:”Journey to Canaan is still on.”

The former Deputy President,Kalonzo Musyoka has said he is still on with his bid for Presidential ticket in 2022.

Kalonzo has said that the handshake was meant to unite the people of Kenya who were divided and that they decided to support the quest of President Uhuru Kenyatta in promoting the lives of Kenya.

Kalonzo Musyoka has also said even though the former Prime Minister revelations on the journey to Canaan was his version and that he is dedicated to deliver Kenyans to the promised land.

Kalonzo Musyoka was Raila Odinga’s running mate in the August Election which was nullified by the supreme court. NASA refused to participate in the repeat elections terming irregularities.

This call by Kalonzo comes as Raila was selected by African Union to to be African Infrastructure development ambassador. This position also raised a lot of debates whether Raila was moving out of active politics which ODM members rubbished.

More are expected to be involved in the 2022 presidential election led by the Deputy President William Ruto. The luhya nation who have expressed interests on the position remain divided. Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula have expressed their personal interests which raise the question of unity of the luhya nation. While former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale is joining Ruto’s camp.

This calls for the succession politics of 2022 comes as The President Uhuru Kenyatta warned politicians against involving themselves with divisive politics but focus on supporting the government in achieving the Big Four Agenda.
