Deadbeat Dad shame for causing drama in a funeral

Bungoma man shamed by daughter for abandoning family to fight over body of another woman

Tom Wekesa who caused drama abandoned his family years ago to live with the diehard jubilee supporter Catherine Naliaka aka Mama Brenda.

However, his real family has come out to say their father was imposing himself on another man’s family. Wekesa caused dram in a funeral in Bungoma fighting with another man over body of woman

His first born daughter says  they were surprised to read in the news that their father had turned into Taekwondo man throwing kicks and blows in a funeral fighting over a dead woman.

“It really hurts, I cant hold my tears that my father, Tom Wekesa, is busy fighting with another man in a funeral over another woman while he abandoned his wife and the fours us,” she said  stating that they could not attend Mama Brenda’s burial because she had abused their mother and also wished death to their brother.

She said they were grateful that their mother managed to take good care of them despite being abandoned and now they are grown ups and married. Wekesa caused drama in the funeral after the first husband of Mama Brenda, Davis Barasa, said it was not an easy decision for him to allow his wife to be buried by another man who sired only one child while he had five children with her.

 

Since Naliaka died, there had been a stand-off between Wekesa and Barasa. The matter almost ended in court. However, the burial committee chairman Pius Ndumba prevailed on the two to find an amicably resolved.

Naliaka’s husband Tom Wekesa moved mourners to tears when he narrated how he struggled with his sick wife. He thanked Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka and former Bungoma governor for helping him offset the bill at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret.

 

Drama started when the master of ceremony invited Naliaka’s former husband Davis Barasa, with whom they sired five children.

Barasa said domestic quarrels led to their break up.
