A section of Kenyans took to social media to express their disappointment in regard to the attitude of a Nigerian dancehall;reggae star;Burna Boy. Although many admit that they love his music , his attitude towards his Kenyan fans has been criticized. The artist was in Kenya for the weekend and he had a live concert held at Uhuru gardens. Judging from the tweets from Kenyans a larger group had plans to attend a concert of a Jamaican reggae star;Tarrus Riley who was also in the country and had his concert at KICC grounds.
The weekend might not have been exciting for Burna Boy since he was forced to brush off a live TV interview on Friday after he refused to explain why he previously called Kenyans peasants.
Burna Boy who was expected to appear on Citizen TV’s 10 Over 10 Show did not seem ready either apologize or give an explanation on why he called Kenyans peasants the last time he visited the country. This forced him to make a U-Turn even before being interviewed.
Meanwhile Kenyans online were already making fun of the situation and reacting to the incident as well as reactions on his concert a day after.
Have a look
Even Burna Boy himself doesn’t want. https://t.co/7ocmfwZONC
