Sarri Speaks highly of Mourinho

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has heaped praise on Jose Mourinho noting that he is a serial winner who has won everywhere and deserves respect.

Jose Mourinho has come under fire in the recent past after a string of poor results that has seen them going four games without a win prior to the Newcastle United victory a fortnight ago.

Mourinho has also been reported to have lost his dressing room after a burst up with Paul Pogba a day after the defeat to Derby County. The Portuguese manager has also questioned the commitment of his players saying that some of them care more than others.

Mourinho will be happy with Sarri’s comments after the Italian tactician revealed that Mourinho deserves respect, “I don’t know because we are talking about a coach who has won everything. He has won everywhere. so I think that I have to respect him but i think that also you all have to respect him. I think that he is a very good coach. he is a very good manager. One of the best in the world of course.”

Sarri went on to add that he didn’t know why Antonio Conte had bad blood with Mourinho, “So I don’t know the problem with Antonio but I think on the pitch sometimes we are a little bit nervous, little bit tense, so you can say everything in that moment. I think that it’s not important but I think Conte respects Mourinho and visa versa.”
