Manchester Legend Scholes reveals who will win Chelsea-Manchester Clash

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has predicted who will win Saturday’s match between his former side and Chelsea.

Chelsea will host Manchester United on Saturday and Scholes has predicted that his former side will suffer defeat. The Blues have made a fine start in the current campaign compared to Mourinho’s struggling side. United, who sit eighth in the table, is already seven points off the pace and five points outside the Champions League places. Scholes is expecting Chelsea to beat United at home and pile more pressure on underfire Mourinho.

“One-nil Chelsea.,” Scholes told Premier League Breakfast on Five Live.

“When you got to Stamford Bridge when the team is flying and full of confidence, it’s always going to be a hard game,’ he continued.  Chelsea look very good at the moment, although United can take confidence from the second half against Newcastle. It may have only been against a team second from bottom of the league, but they can grasp on to something,” he added.

“There was that penalty and then a fine David De Gea save, so United really could have been 4-0 down at half-time. They have to take confidence from that second half which was really good and probably the best of the season. But Chelsea is a different story. I just hope we are defensively right and that may then give the forwards a chance to win the game.”

Scholes has been recently criticizing the Red Devils and the manager Jose Mourinho. He recently claimed that the Portuguese is ’embarrassing’ the club.
