Google’s YouTube is back after the streaming service experienced downtime that lasted over an hour. The streaming service was on Wednesday morning inaccessible as no videos were being displayed.
The service that uploads about 100 hours of content each minute posted a tweet saying that they were working to resolve the issue.
Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated.

The downtime created a hilarious atmosphere on the Twitter streets as others even reported the issue to the police. The Philly Police response won the internet!

Although YouTube did not give any explanation as to what caused the outage, the problem was resolved and the app was up and running.
We're back! Thanks for all of your patience. If you continue to experience issues, please let us know. https://t.co/NVU5GP7Sy6

This isn’t the first time the American video-sharing website has experienced downtime. This year, during the FIFA World Cup, the live stream for the England Vs. Croatia match went down briefly.
