Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain provides fans with recovery update

Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain posted an update of his intense workout on Instagam, as he continues his rehabilitation.

The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury during the semi-final first leg against Roma in the Champions League last season.

The England International  was ruled out the 2018 World Cup in Russia which saw England reach the semi-final stage, and was initially reported to missing the majority of the current Premier League season. .

He stepped up his training in late September when he revealed he was able to  pass a football again and now the 25-year-old has issued another update on Instagram.

The midfielder took to his social media account to post a picture of himself testing his leg at the gym and captioned it “on the grind”.

showcasing  himself training hard in the gym to strengthen his right leg and he certainly looks in excellent shape having incorporated bike work, boxing drills, and rope work.

Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal last summer and went on to make 39 appearances and scored five goals.

Reds have been  handed fresh boost as midfielder pushes himself in bid for first-team return

A timescale on his return, though is yet to be updated by the player or the club.
