Did Raila Give up in Fighting for the top Seat?

On Thursday and Friday ODM Party leader Raila Odinga camped in Migori county campaigning for his Candidate in the October 8 senatorial by-elections Ochilo Ayacko.

The by-elections follows the demise of the former senator Ben Oluoch who succumbed to cancer in June 2018.

Odinga took to his twitter account to thank Migori residents for the warm welcome on his traverse in the county.

Ayacko is facing stiff competition from the youthful Federal Party Of Kenya’s Eddy Oketch Gicheru who finished second in the past 2107 polls Migori senatorial contest.

However, Kenyans on Twitter have not taken any of Odinga’s vote of thanks message after they fired back with hilarious reactions.

Some are questioning if Odinga gave up in contesting for the top most political seats.

In most occasions, Odinga has been seen campaigning vigorously for his allied candidates, both in general elections and by-elections.

Some Kenyans accuse him of taking to the ground to campaign against the 27 year old Eddy Oketch

They have shown loss of hope in Odinga as they claim he failed to represent them at the top in the government.

Odinga joined the ruling Jubilee government through a handshake witnessed between him and President Uhuru kenyatta in March 2018.
