Was the KPL trophy snatched from Gor Mahia coach?

Gor Mahia FC head coach Dylan Kerr plan was to take the trophy to the fans at Tom Mboya after the coronation but failed after their treasury took away the trophy from the tactician.

The Briton had promised to link up with the fans at their famous meeting point which is at the Tom Mboya statue at the City Centre in Nairobi.

“Apologies to all K’Ogalo fans I planned to bring the trophy to Tom Mboya but MR Ogudi and Sally Bolo saw fit t take from my team & the fans,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile,  has hinted there could be very many exits at the club in the oncoming transfer window.

Kerr expressed his frustrations after the team’s 2-2 draw with Mathare United at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Sunday 30th September

We were 2-0 and should kill off the game but we conceded two goals in similar circumstances – defensive errors. Raphael Asudi made a mistake and we were punished but he is young and will learn from it. He has been brilliant in the past two matches at left-back,” Kerr said,

“However on the second goal Joash Onyango should have done better. He is an experienced player and he knows what should be done. He got caught off position and I just don’t know what he was thinking when committing the foul that led to the penalty,”

“We got the point but we should have won the match and celebrated with the fans because that is what coronation is all about but we spoilt it. However, credit to Mathare United, they kept going and deserve the point.” He added.

“A lot of shipping is going to happen during the transfer window definitely. I am disappointed with what has been happening at the club in the past few weeks. We haven’t been professional and I am not happy.” He added.

Gor Mahia have two matches to end the 2018 KPL season – against Zoo FC and Tusker FC and Kerr is hoping they can finish off the season by registering wins.
