Sanchez future in doubt after FURIOUS reaction to Mourinho

Manchester United forward  Alexis Sanchez is Fuming after being left out of the squad to face West Ham in the Premier League at the weekend.

The Red Devils were shocked by the Hammers, losing 3-1 as the former Arsenal man watched on from the stands.

And it leaves United boss Jose Mourinho facing yet another problem following a public bust-up with Paul Pogba.

The Special One failed to get the best out of his players against West Ham and the club now sit nine points behind Manchester City who top the Premier League table.

Reports say,  Sanchez made his feelings clear to backroom staff about the snub for the match at the London Stadium.

And he is also said to have revealed he regrets his move to Old Trafford to former  Arsenal team-mate Lucas Perez in the tunnel.Sanchez has failed to impress this season, failing to net in any matches so far.

That’s despite not featuring at the World Cup this summer and coming off the back of a full pre-season with  the Red Devils.

Before the match Mourinho explained his decision to pick Anthony Martial instead of Sanchez.

The Portuguese tactician said, “Look for how many months are people asking for Anthony Martial, Martial, Martial and saying how Alexis isn’t play well enough. This week it was time to agree and leave Alexis out. I have no complaints about the player’s attitude. [Robert] Snodgrass came to the pitch with an incredible attitude, you need that genuine humility. There are certain qualities that you either have or you don’t have.”

United could struggle to offload Sanchez if the 29-year-old demands to leave though because of his mammoth wages.

The forward earns £500,000-a-week at Old Trafford following his switch from Arsenal back in January.

United return to action tomorrow night in the Champions League when they take on Valencia at Old Trafford.

Mourinho could choose to restore The Chile International  to his starting line-up.
